KONY 2012

 Today, there are many child abuse problems all around the world, and Kony is one of them. Kony has done many horrible things to the children in Uganda. All this became known by a group called Invisible Children. They made videos like Kony 2012, funded schools, and helped children. This is all a very good movement, but is it really necessary? Now, Kony is gone and the children are safe. This Kony was a issue quite a long time ago, and the Invisible Children are making all these videos NOW and spending the money that was sent to help the children, not to make videos. For these reasons, I disagree to the Invisible Children.

 First, Kony has been accused by government entities of ordering the abduction of children to become child-sex slaves and child soldiers, and this is wrong, I agree to that part, but the reason I disagree to the Invisible Children is because they had the timing all wrong. They should have acted when Kony was acting, and now they are acting and spending money on unrealistic things.

 Also, now, Kony is gone. There is no reason to spend money finding a man who is hiding because of shame and protection of himself, and they, the Invisible Children firmly believes that Kony is still dangerous, but he is hiding, and Kony won't make any trouble since Kony doesn't want to get more attention. Invisible Children should spending the money from the people to help families and sick children because of Kony.

 
 Lastly, if they really want to help the children, they should spend the donations on the children, not on late videos and strange activities. They have to give real help to the poor children that was damaged because of Kony.

 To sum up, I disagree to the Invisible Children because I think they are spending money on unrealistic things, and keep finding Kony although he is gone, and they are giving small help to children that needs real help. Although the Invisible children got their directions wrong, if they got the direction right, I think the Invisible children would be a better group.

To Alarm.
You! alarm! I don't like you!
You always wake me up!
I know that's an obviously good thing, but you're so annoying!
Can't you just turn off for just one second?
You're just annoying, and I can't sleep because you ring early and don't stop!
You finally stop ringing when I'm awake, and then I have to wash and eat right away!
I know the PAs and TAs chose you, but can't you just be broken? Just for one week?

If you turn off or be broken just for two or three days, I'll be really happy!
and you keep playing the same songs! It's boring!

Ode To My Smartphone

Dear smartphone,
Hello? I'm Su Bin and I'm your owner.
I want to say sorry for not feeding you, and
I want to say sorry for dropping you all the time.
Since you are my first smartphone, I'll be more carefull.
You mean a lot to me, since you brought me to this camp.
You made me go to this camp because I wanted to get you!
My mother promised to give a brand-new smartphone(you) if I go to GLPS camp! and you are also my  prize for doing well at the tests in school.
So if I look at you, I think of tests and this GLPS camp.
Although you make me think of tests, you are my first smartphone and I will think of you even if I get a new smartphone, and I  promise to feed you well and I will not drop you

About Me

 Hello, my name is Su Bin and I'm now in the GLPS camp class 14. I will now introduce myself. I have four people in my family, like listening to K-POP, and I like rabbits and dogs.
 First, I have four people in my family. My father, my mother, me, and my brother. My mother is a very nice person, and she cooks well. My father is an oriental doctor, and I like him because he listens to me and understands me well. My brother is both very funny and annoying. He wants to be a doctor when he grows up.
 Also, I like listening to K-POP in my free time. I like listening to K-POP because hearing my favorite singer's songs calms me down. I especially like to hear the music of the boy band Big Bang because I like the singers in the group, and they have calming or hopeful songs.





 Lastly, I like dogs and rabbits. I like dogs and rabbits because they are very cute and I used to keep a dog that was really cute, but the dog died because it missed its mom. So I really want to keep a cute dog when I'm grown up. I like rabbits because they are cute and easy to handle if you are careful.
 In conclusion, I'm a 5th grade girl that has four people in my family, like K-POP, and like dogs and rabbits. I hope you had a good time reading this.
